How do I take this awesome course?
MiP is all about learning by DOING!
And the new 666 level of the course is about doing at a HIGH level
When you work on a project, you work in a team, and teams need people with diverse skills.
So how do we ensure that we get the right balance of Technical folks and Creatives?
We only allow enrollment by instructor permission. (some semesters this is a cross listed class, so you may be signed up for the COMM section OR the DRAM section, both meet at the same time in the same place…)
How to you get instructor permission? Well, you contact the instructors!
Let us know what skills you bring to the table, and don’t be shy about it. We know that most folks have more than one skill, so tell us what you can do, or better yet, SHOW us what you have done.
Send us a link to your online portfolio, show us your reel, your CV, whatever. Tell us why you should be a part of this class.
We don’t have a quota per se, but if we have a class with 17 creative designers and only 2 tech folk, we aren’t going to have much fun now are we?
Upperclassmen will have some priority, as they will be graduating soon. (since this is a 600 level class, graduate students can take it as well!)
